Reflection:
This week I had tried to explore more with the images and manipulate them. I had messed with inverting, flipping, layering, saturation, opacity and more. I really enjoyed this aspect of it and just getting lost in what I could do and what could change digitally. It was interesting to see them layered with my work as well. The group put things in front and we thought about ripping and possibly putting the scan or drawings behind in the rip acting as a window but in a different way. The majority of these were of trees and a little sunset, but I wanted to mess more with water images as well. I liked playing with grey-scale images, and seeing them intertwined with my love for color. For me it creates this reality versus memory aspect that I love. I also received words such as dreamlike, nostalgic, window, layer and more. It is time for me to lay everything out and figure out what direction I truly want to go with.
